* Northern Neck Amateur Radio Club sponsors the W4KGC 146.745 (-,107.2) repeater in King George, VA. 

* Suitland Area Radio Club. Provides training for emcomm techniques as well as making sure operators are ready to go in case of an emergency. Discussions include messages, backup power techniques and portable gear such as antennas. Weekly net on Sundays at 8:00 pm on the 145.350 repeater.

* Southern Maryland Amateur Radio Club. SMARC is one of the longest running clubs in the area spanning nearly four decades. The web site is www.qsl.net/smarc and they sponsor two repeaters, 147.150 (-,114.8) and 443.600(+103.5). Meetings are in Clinton on the second Friday of the even months of the year.

* St. Mary's County Amateur Radio Association is a general interest club serving St. Mary's County hams since the early 1950's.  SMCARA is a general interest club serving the Naval Air Museum radio club (K3NHK), participates in the annual ARRL Field Day exercise, conducts Ham classes/exams, as well as other social activities. The club's open repeater, K3HKI, is on 146.64 (-, 146.2). The club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum.
